Hi everybody,
Weeks go by and it is been a long time since we did not show around. Now that October is finished, we would like to make a small update and tell you how is everything going.
Bhoreal Mini's design is completely finished and the PCB is being manufactured. During the workshop we did in Mexico, we could notice that the kits assembly was more complicated than it had been expected for the majority of users. This made us take the decision to incorporate SMD elements on the design and send the PCBs with the components already soldered.
The Bhoreal Slim's power control (energy control) is giving us a headache and more working hours than we expected. We keep prototyping this part of the shield and we are going to try new chips, because we did not get a 100% satisfactory result so far with the tested ones. We will keep testing this part until we optimize this the most. The power control is very important for this version of the controller.
We already have the rest of materials and necessary components to assembly the controllers. The parts we do not have yet, are on their way and they will arrive in the coming weeks.
We had a "small" disappointment with the customized silicone keypads. After choosing a manufacturer based on the offers they gave us and sending them a sample keypad, they contacted us saying the price of the mold and the units would be more expensive (almost doubled amount than the initial offer). This will cause a considerable delay, since we have decided to change the manufacturer and we need to send the samples again, etc. Given the fact that this work will be made in China, the deadline is being delayed without realizing it. In any case, we believe that we have done well choosing a new manufacturer and hope to get this essential components as soon as possible.
We understand that you are all eager to receive your controllers, but we still need a few weeks until we can start to send the first units.

Entonces el minikit vendrá montado? O será necesario que el usuario suelde algun componente?

si, efectivamente. Vendrán 100% montados y testeados. Pasarán a llamarse mini slim, no kit! :)
Hemos visto que soldar determinados componentes es un problema para muchos usuarios. Además, dado que hemos cambiado la tecnología de LED a SMD, nos ha parecido lo más conveniente para vosotros. Saludos!
