Programming in Python: Translated to Galician
The power of Creative Common licenses and the community is that if someone publishes something useful others can use it and even improve the original. That happened these days.
The people behind bricolabs.cc translated our Programming in Python book to Galician for one of their courses and decided to send us the translation. Of course we decided to include it in the project.
Bricolabs is an association based on A Coruña that, inspired in FabLabs and Hackerspaces, gather to create prototypes and gadgets. They also organize courses and workshops about free software and hardware. For instance, they made a python course using the materials we shared and they translated.
The funny thing of this is that we didn't know each other before and we decided to help each other. They have some material already created about python and, now, we have a really good Galician translation so people from Galicia can learn python in their language. This is fantastic.
We didn't publish the contents yet because there are some adjustments to do but we want to thank the Bricolabs team for the work they did and specially: Rafa, Sandra, Milo, Scrawny, Solo and Salvari for their work on the translation and Rafael for the coordination of the translation.
Thank you all, durin these weird days of quarantine this news are great to have.
