Día 3 – Show #1
El tiempo en un pequeño pueblo como Bil’n es diferente: nos levantamos a las 11 y tomamos un café, nos dimos una ducha y tomamos café, desayunamos a las 13.00 horas y luego, un café, nos fuimos a nuestro Show # 1 en Al- Hadaf Center con 70 niños y 10 adultos … 80 sonrisas para comenzar nuestra aventura.
Nos lo pasamos de maravilla entre muchas cámaras, Hamde tiene todo un equipo de jóvenes alumnos siguiendo sus pasos y tuvimos la suerte de tenerle a él, un famoso fotógrafo, tomando muchas fotos de nuestro show. Hamde, Ossama y otros amigos nos ayudaron a controlar la euforia. Pero de nada sirvieron cuando las burbujas comenzaron a volar! Fueron un público fabuloso y lleno de energía y nos hicieron sentir tan felices como agotadas.
A las 18.00 comimos y luego ….. café. Luego nos quedamos con algunas nuevas amigas (de 8 a 60 años) y tomamos té y… café. Terminamos el día con una noche muy divertida con Hamde y su panda y Liz y Zoe (dos chicas recién llegadas de Londres que están preparandouna exposición de artistas palestinos, entre ellos Hamde).
Día 4 – Taller #1 y un burro
En un lugar como Bil’in todo es muy tranquilo, pero cada momento es una aventura. Queríamos repasar el taller de la tarde, pero en nuestra habitación, la habitación de las niñas, las mujeres de la familia solo hablaban sobre la boda (la hermana se va a casar mañana). En el salón los niños jugaban, en la calle nos detenían para hablar sobre el show y mostrarnos sus nuevas narices rojas. El único que nos dio un poco de paz fue el burro del pueblo. Tuvimos el taller con 70 niños y fue desordenadamente divertido! Por suerte tenemos fotos para probarlo, otra vez tuvimos muchas cámaras siguiendo cada paso que dábamos. Pasamos la noche en su casa, que comenzó a estar llena con la familia que llegaba para la boda. Y como decimos en España, de perdidos al río … subimos una escalera rota-después-arreglada y nos fuimos a dormir al techo.
Día 5 – Hasta luego Bil’in
Esta mañana ha sido muy intesa: teníamos que decir adiós. Dejamos Bil’in … probablemente vamos a volver … El taxista nos llevó a Biddo a ver a Rami, un viejo amigo de Lorena del colegio UWC, ahora es médico en el centro de salud de Biddo, y por supuesto que tiene una nariz roja. Salimos de Biddo, pasamos el punto de control, entramos en Jerusalén, llegamos a la casa de los padres de Carmen, comimos, nos duchamos y nos fuimos a DORMIR..
Día 6

Day 3 - Show #1
Time in Bil’n, a small village, is different: we woke up at 11 and had a coffee, we took a shower and had coffee, we had breakfast at 13.00 and then coffee, we went to our Show #1 at Al-Hadaf Center with 70 kids and 10 adults…80 smiles to start our ride.
We had a fabulous time between many cameras, Hamde has a whole crew of young pupils following his steps and we were lucky enough to get him, a famous photographer, to take many pictures of our show. Hamde, Ossama and other friends alternated as translators between English and Arabic and helped us control the euphoria. But they were useless when the bubbles started flying! They were a fabulous powerful audience and made us as happy as tired.
At 18.00 we had lunch and then….. coffee. Then we stayed with some girls (ages 8 to 60) and sang and had …. Tea and a coffee. We finished the day having a very fun evening with Liz and Zoe (two newly arrived girls from London that are preparing an exhibition on Palestinian artists, including Hamde), Hamde and his gang.
Day 4 – Workshop #1 and a donkey
In a place like Bil’in everything is very calm, but every moment is an adventure. We wanted to go over the workshop for the afternoon but in our room, the girls room, the women of the family were all about the wedding(Hamde’s sister is getting married tomorrow). In the living room the kids were all about playing, in the street it was all about stopping us talking about the show and showing us their brand new red noses and the only one who would let us BE was the village donkey. We had the workshop with 70 children and it was so messily fun!!! Luckily we have photos to prove it, again we had more than 10 cameras following every step we took. We spent the evening at home, which started to be full with the family arriving for the wedding. And as we say in Spain, from lost to the river… we climbed a broken-then-fix-ladder and went to sleep on the roof.
Day 5 – Farewell Bil’in
This morning was very intense: we had to say good bye. We left Bil’in… we’ll probably come back… The taxi driver took us to Biddo to see Rami, an old friend of Lorena from UWC high school, he’s a doctor now in the health center in Biddo, and of course he got a red nose. We left Biddo, passed the check point, arrived to Jerusalem, then to Carmen’s parents house, we ate, we took a shower and we went to SLEEP.
Day 6

יום 3 – הופעה ראשונה
בכפר קטן כמו בילעין לזמן יש קצב אחר. התעוררנו בשעה 11 ושתינו קפה, התקלחנו ואחר כך שתינו קפה, אכלנו ארוחת בוקר ב 13.00 ואז שתינו קפה, יצאנו להצגה הראשונה שלנו במרכז אל-חדף שם חיכו 70 ילדים ו 10 מבוגרים. 80 חיוכים ראשונים במסע.
היה ממש טוב ומוקף מצלמות של צוות שלם ההולך אחרי חמדה, המארח שלנו, שהוא צלם מפורסם והיה לנו המזל שהוא צילם את ההופעה. חמדה, אוסמה ואחרים עזרו לנו לשלוט בהתרגשות. הם עזרו בהצלחה מרובה חוץ מהרגע של בועות הסבון בא ההתרגשות עלתה לשמיים יחד עם הבועות. הקהל היה נפלא ואינטנסיבי והשאיר אותנו עייפות אך מרוצות.
ב 18.00 אכלנו צהריים ו…. שתינו קפה. אחר כך ישבנו בחצר עם הבנות (גילאים 8 עד 60) שרנו בכל השפות ושתינו…. תה וקפה. סיימנו את היום בערב משעשע במיוחד עם ליז וזואי (שתי בנות מלונדון המכינות תערוכה על אמנים פלשתינים, הכוללת את חמדה ורק הגיעו לבילעין) חמדה, המארח שלנו וחבורתו.
יום 4 – סדנא ראשונה וחמור
במקום כמו בילעין הכל מאוד מאוד רגוע אבל כל רגע הוא הרפתקה. רצינו לעבור על הסדנה שתהיי לנו מאוחר יותר אחר הצהריים, אבל בחדר שלנו, חדר בנות, נשות המשפחה היה עסוקות בחתונה (אחות של חמדה מתחתנת מחר) . בסלון הילדים היו עסוקים בלשחק, ברחוב כולם היו עסוקים בלעצור אותנו ולדבר על ההצגה של אתמול ולהשווץ באף האדום החדש שלהם, היחיד שנתן לנו רגע שקט היה החמור של הכפר. לסדנה הגיעו 70 ילדים וההתרגשות הייתה נפלאה ונשמעה בכל הכפר! למזלנו יש לנו מספיק תמונות כדי להוכיח זאת, כיוון שמצלמות רבות תיעדו כל צעד שעשינו.
את שארית הערב בילינו בבית, שהתחיל להתמלא בבני המשפחה שהגיעו לחתונה. אחרי מה שעברנו בימים האחרונים, הרגע בו טיפסנו על הסולם השבור-מתוקן והלכנו לישון על הגג היה רק עוד חוויה.
יום 5 – להתראות בילעין
הבוקר היה מאוד מרגש, זה היה זמן פרידה. עזבנו את בילעין … רוב הסיכויים שנחזור… נהג המונית לקח אותנו לבידו לראות את רמי, ידיד ותיק של לורנה מהתיכון הבינלאומי UWC, שעובד כרופא במרכז הבריאות המקומי, כמובן שגם הוא קיבל אף אדום. עזבנו את בידו, עברנו את הצ’ק פוינט, הגענו לירושלים, המשכנו לבית הוריה של כרמן, אכלנו, התקלחנו והלכו ל י ש ו ן !
