Estudio de metodología
El coste del estudio y puesta en práctica del proyecto se desarrolla en un tiempo aproximado de un año. El coste de 96 sesiones repartidas entre dos profesionales de la salud(medico fisioterapeuta, etructural devela espalda y un terapeuta)
Comisiones de la campañ 8% Goteo y 2% de comsiones bancarias
Mas tablas , chalecos y remos, el coste por tabla varia entre 500 y 1200€ , los remos varían entre 90 y 300€ y por último los chalecos rondarían los 40€
Evento anual para clubs y asociaciones interesadas
Realizar un evento anual con y para todos los interesados en el proyecto, con charlas, test de material y mucho mas
Para ponernos en marcha necesitamos material técnico para el estudio, pulsometros, medidores…
Tablas adaptadas de Sup, Remos , chalecos especiales...

We invite to get to know GOAZENUP!
The objective of the project is to develop a innovative methodology for rehabilitation and physical / emotional improvements, using SUP (Stand up paddleboard) and Yoga in a unique natural environment. Because of our ample experience in this field, we have experienced the rapid therapeutically improvements of the participating persons. In my case, after an accident that affected the medullar spine, it helped me very much to recover physically as well as emotionally. This is the reason for my interest in this research and the project.
The objective of GOAZENUP is to recompile, guarantee, and expose the benefits of SUP, collaborating with professionals of different areas, like rehabilitation, psychology, and Yoga; who will confirm and guarantee with reports and methodologies something we have experienced in many occasions.
SUP, one of the fastest growing sports over the last years, consists of gliding through the water standing up on a board, propelled by an paddle . It’s relaxing, easy, and physical therapeutically. Therefor we encourage you to try it. You will love it, repeat it, and you will notice how you will feel much better.

Based on our experience and that of the other participants we are sure of the benefits of SUP and Yoga. But with GOAZENUP we want to go to the net level by developing an innovative methodology for rehabilitation and improvement of well-being, guaranteeing this methodology by other professionals, and making it available to any other interested person. You want to know how?
Within GoazenUp Mikel Rotaetexe, based on his ample experience with SUP, Yoga and motivation, will take charge of the technical and physical aspects. Aketza Sanchez will take charge of the social and science aspects of the organization supervising the correct development of the methodology and its publication.
The activities will vary depending on the experience of the users, but will all follow the following protocol:
- After receiving, first the needs of the user will have to be known: his pains, emotional status, experience, eating habits, and his intentions, using a questionnaire with simple questions and a mapping of his ailments. This form can be made available on the internet.
- Definition of the short-, medium-, and large term goals.
- We organize a workshop to get to know the medium, material, infrastructure, and motivation.
- Once arrived to the sand we get to know the material, do a warming up, and practice the different positions (asanas??), to be able to enjoy more when entering the wet means.
… AND INTO THE WATER!!
- Depending on the conditions, experience, and the goals, we can to the river of Plentzia, or to the sea.
- During the activity we can enjoy it with all our senses, practice Yoga, balancing and coordination games, a bit of exercising and finally we lay down to relax. See www.youtube.com/watch
- To finish we have a brainstorm to share the experience of the group members.
This example is flexible and will be adjusted for the different goals and needs of the group (strengthen, loose weight, de-stress, have a good time,…)
The investigation exists of monitoring a group of 30 persons during one year with approximately 60 sessions per person. During this period, each person will have a medical check up (physical, therapeutic, “fisiatrica”, biomechanics) each 2 months depending on his pathology or needs. A weekly test Is done through the web.
Based on the recompilation of this material, reports, and comparisons, we will design a methodology that, once completed and tested for its effectiveness, must be easy to understand and managed by any person. We count also with the help and additional information contributed by other partners like clubs, schools, companies and individuals.
Pourquoi est-ce important
After confirming the benefits of SUP we would like to publish this to reach as many as possible. In my case, after an accident involving my medullar spine, I saw that everything that thrilled me (sports, work, the sea) stopped suddenly, and it looked like I was never to enjoy these again, until I started practicing SUP. This helped me a lot physically and emotionally; it gave more muscular tone, balance, relax, and much more that can’t be explained. Now I continue to improve and to fight.
This is were the idea was born. Mikel Rotaetxe helped me a lot adapting and we came up with the idea to start this project: define a methodology for the benefits of SUP.
This is how our association GOAZENUP was born!!
It is directed to people like you and me, people that need to disconnect a while, be in a natural, healthy, and enjoyable environment as well as being in good company.
On the other hand it is directed to people with specific needs like stress, anxieties, back and muscular pains, balance problems, psicomotricidad, self esteem, fears, weight problems, or just as a fitness exercise. youtu.be/rYgHwJkNfrU

Objectifs de la campagne de crowdfunding
We want to highlight the following goals of GOAZENUP and the crowdfunding campaign:
To finance the investigation for a methodology for well being and health, and to spread the results between clubs, associations, and schools. From the coast to inland, from local, via state and national to world wide.
Make publicity for SUP as a tool for health and well being on physical as well as emotional level.
Make publicity for our association on local and national level.
Obtain finance for purchasing material needed for the investigation of the method.
For all these reasons we hope you are interested and like our project and you want to support us with getting our project known, financially, or to participate with us.
GOAZENUP is an association for sports, health, and well being, founded by Mikel Rotaetxe and Aketza Sanchez, with as goal to improve you physically and emotionally, by practicing something as simple and emotional as is SUP (Stand up paddleboard), combining with the benefits of Yoga in an unique environment of nature.
In this project the divers are two persons:
Mikel Rotaetxe, founder of the multi adventure company “Sopelbike” (Surf, climbing, MBT), owner of the vegetarian restaurant “Zuriaitz”. Currently he manages a Yoga school and coordinates Yoga and nutritional retreats.
Aketza Sanchez, founder and director of “Cabobillano S.L” and organizer of sport events. Currently he trains elite sportsmen, and is rehabilitating from an accident that affects medullar spine chronically.
On the other hand we collaborate with Aliza Ochandiano, as a nutritional coach.
In Plentzia we have access to installations, only 50 meters from the river and next to the beach, with individual showers, lockers, changing rooms, .. etc. In Urdulliz we have our offices and Yoga and general purpose rooms.
